On Tap Invitational: Scottsdale is a small-group golf trip to Troon North in Scottsdale, built around real access to Brian Katrek and John Maginnes. You play two of the best desert courses in the country, stay on property, and spend four days with two people who have spent their careers living and breathing Tour golf.

A beloved voice in professional golf broadcasting, Brian brings deep Tour knowledge, sharp wit, and genuine passion for the game to every round. He will be your personal guide through Troon North from arrival to farewell.
Former Tour professional turned broadcaster, John played the game at the highest level before moving to the mic. That background comes through on the course. He has a story for every hole and knows Troon North well.

On Tap Invitational: Scottsdale is a two-person team event. The format, scoring, and any competitive details will be confirmed and communicated to all registered teams ahead of the trip. More information coming soon — check back here or watch your inbox after registering.
The event is open to amateur golfers of all skill levels. You do not need to carry an official handicap to register, though some competitive elements may use handicap adjustments. All participants must be 18 or older. You can register as a two-person team with a partner of your choosing, or sign up on your own as a single entrant.
- On or before November 14, 2026: $500 cancellation fee per person.
- November 15 to December 31, 2026: 50% cancellation fee per person.
- After December 31, 2026: no refunds, regardless of the reason.

The $3,100 is the price per person based on double occupancy (two players sharing a room, which fits the two-person team format). It covers three nights at Scottsdale Golf Retreat, two rounds of championship golf at Troon North, daily breakfast, and the welcome reception on arrival evening. It does not include flights, dinner, or personal expenses. This is a limited release, with only 8 double-occupancy spots available.
Early bird pricing: $3,100 (double) and $4,999 (single) are early bird prices for anyone who registers by October 31, 2026. Starting November 1, prices go up $250 per person, to $3,350 (double) and $5,249 (single).
Prefer a room to yourself? Single occupancy is $4,999 per person, and only 8 single-occupancy spots are available. Other optional add-ons come at an additional fee, including extra nights and additional rounds of golf. Your final price depends on the options you choose and is confirmed at registration.
All payments for On Tap Invitational are made by ACH bank transfer. During registration you'll be asked to securely connect your bank account, and your payment is drawn directly from it.
If you'd prefer a $1,000 team deposit to secure your spot, that can be arranged. Any remaining balance is due November 15th.
You can also pay by credit card, which carries a 3% surcharge. For any payment other than the standard ACH transfer (deposit only, paying by credit card, or covering just your portion of the team), reach out to staff at Scott@SkyLinksManagement.com and we'll get you set up.
Absolutely. You are welcome to register as a single entrant and pay the single occupancy price of $4,999, which includes a room to yourself. We will team you up with another single entrant in the tournament, so you will still have a partner for the two-person team format.
If you already have a partner in mind, you can register together as a team at the double-occupancy rate instead.
