On Tap Invitational: Scottsdale is a small-group golf trip to Troon North in Scottsdale, built around real access to Brian Katrek and John Maginnes. You play two of the best desert courses in the country, stay on property, and spend four days with two people who have spent their careers living and breathing Tour golf.

Former Tour professional turned broadcaster, John played the game at the highest level before moving to the mic. That background comes through on the course. He has a story for every hole and knows Troon North well.

On Tap Invitational: Scottsdale is a two-person team event. The format, scoring, and any competitive details will be confirmed and communicated to all registered teams ahead of the trip. More information coming soon — check back here or watch your inbox after registering.
The event is open to amateur golfers of all skill levels. You do not need to carry an official handicap to register, though some competitive elements may use handicap adjustments. All participants must be 18 or older. Each registration covers a two-person team — you and a partner of your choosing.

The $3,000 is the price per person based on double occupancy — two players sharing a room, which fits the two-person team format. It covers three nights at Scottsdale Golf Retreat, two rounds of championship golf at Troon North, daily breakfast, and the welcome reception on arrival evening. It does not include flights, dinner, or personal expenses.
Prefer a room to yourself? Single occupancy is $5,400 per person. Other optional add-ons are available for an additional fee, including extra nights and additional rounds of golf. Your final price depends on the options you choose and is confirmed at registration.
All payments for On Tap Invitational are made by ACH bank transfer. During registration you'll be asked to securely connect your bank account, and your payment is drawn directly from it.
Yes, registration is by two-person team. You will need to register alongside your partner. If you are interested in attending but do not yet have a partner, get in touch and we will do our best to help connect you with other solo registrants.
